Shwmae! Dylan ydw i o Aberystwyth. Fi newydd raddio, wedi astudio’r Gymraeg am thair mlynedd yng Nghaerdydd a thra o’ ni yno, fi oedd golygydd adran fwyd a diod cylchgrawn Quench. Fi’n edrych ‘mlaen yn arw at weithio gyda Llais y Maes eleni ac i helaethu fy mhrofiadau newyddiadurol, ynghyd a phrofi’r Eisteddfod o safbwynt hollol newydd. Rwy’n arfer mynd i’r Eisteddfod ac i Faes B yn flynyddol ac yn dwli ar bob agwedd o’r ŵyl. Dyma wythnos gyffrous lle mae mwyafrif o Gymry Cymraeg y byd yn dod at ei gilydd i fwynhau awyrgylch gwbl Gymraeg a Chymreig ac i ddathlu pob agwedd o’n diwylliant. Rwy’n gobeithio bydd y prosiect hwn yn fodd i rannu’r dathliadau gyda’r rhai nad sy’n gyfarwydd â’r wyl, ac efallai eu hysbrydoli i fynychu’r Eisteddfod y tro nesaf, achos mae’r Gymraeg a’r diwylliant Cymreig i bawb! Os welwch chi fi neu unrhyw un o’r tîm ar y maes, dewch draw i ddweud helo ac i rannu rhai o’ch profiadau chi. Welai chi yn Llanelli!
Hello! I’m Dylan, From Aberystwyth. I’ve recently graduated from Cardiff with a degree in Welsh and whilst there I was also the editor of Quench Magazine’s food and drink section. I can’t wait to work with Llais y Maes this year and extend my journalistic experiences and also see the Eisteddfod from another point of view. I’m used to attending the Eisteddfod and Maes B annually and I love every aspect of the festival. It’s an exciting week where the majority of Welsh speaking Wales come together to enjoy a unique culture and celebrate everything Welsh. I hope this project might shed some light to those who don’t know that much about the Eisteddfod and perhaps even encourage them to attend themselves, because Welsh and Welsh culture is for everybody!
