Ten-year-old boy’s busy Eisteddfod

6 August 2015

Sam has engaged himself in various events like all his peers on the Maes. But unlike other children, he’s also been helping his mother to run a bakery stand at Y Pantri. He’s ten years old, but he seems to have an old soul.

As for the bakery business, Sam has his own idea, “Arts is what comes with baking. You need the inspiration, you need a….creative mind,” he says.

When asked about what he wants to do in the future, he says he and his friends are thinking about running a comics “superhero business.” “If it doesn’t work out, I’ll probably carry on with my mom’s bakery business.”
